Theft on the rise in Rhea County
In spite of a few uninformed people predicting that theft will become less and less a problem, it seems that those with such opinions are either stoners, drunk or completely out of touch. Rhea County Sheriff’s Department detective Rocky Potter said crime is up across Rhea County.
However, he added that although crime is higher, Rhea County has a little less thefts and burglaries than in surrounding counties.
